In my 11th grade year of high school, I had the oppotunity to participate in a service learning program in Zambia, Africa with an organization called LearnServe International. During my experience, we had the chance to teach science at a Zambian elementary school, plant trees at a local farm, speak with Zambian high school students on their experience, and immersing in the local culture, cuisine and customs. The image to the left, is me teaching a class at Chikumbuso Community School which is part of Chikumbuso Women and Orphans Project,
